Looking for an alternative to trick-or-treating for the family this year? Fort Whoop-Up has launched a unique Hallowe’en experience for the whole family!

Enjoy a leisurely carriage ride through the river valley. Trick-or-treat through the rooms at the fort meeting fun and spooky characters in each room. Then gather with performers like historian Belinda Crowson and actor Andrew Legg to hear spooky local stories that are suitable for all ages.

We will be limiting attendance to 20 people per hour to ensure physical distancing is possible, but we will be doing the event over two days to let more people participate. Masks are required for all attendees. Surfaces will be disinfected between groups,

Have your picture taken in your Hallowe’en costume by the fort’s photographer to mark the occasion and the different ways that we are all enjoying the event during COVID-19. There is an option to let us store the photos at the Galt Museum & Archives as part of the historical record of this moment. The pictures are a fundraiser for the Friends of the Galt Endowment Fund and are available by donation.

$5 per person | all ages | special event

While this event is sold out, you can still book spots in our Hallowe’en Photo Fundraiser here!
