July 25, 2026 | Home in the River Valley: A River Bottom Alumni Picnic

Join us for a relaxed, memory-filled afternoon in the river bottom! This community picnic invites folks who have lived in—or have strong ties to—the Lethbridge river bottom to gather, share stories, and reconnect with the histories and landscape that shaped them.

Bring a potluck item, photographs and your memories. Enjoy light refreshments, explore archival photographs and maps, and swap stories with others who have known the river valley as home. The afternoon will also feature a guided walk led by Lethbridge’s incredible resident historian extraordinaire Belinda Crowson (1:00PM), offering insight into the people, places, and layered histories of the river bottom.

All are welcome—whether you lived there for years or just long enough to leave a lasting imprint. Come eat, wander, remember, and celebrate the river bottom together.

12pm–4pm  | all ages - kids to attend with caregivers | registration encouraged | museum admission applies | members at no cost | Fort Whoop-Up
