History comes alive at Fort Whoop-Up this summer, and guests are invited to step back in time and experience a taste of Life on the Whoop-Up Trail. Enjoy an evening of entertainment, and hear intriguing stories about the Blackfoot, Métis, Canadians and American Whisky traders in the late 1800s. Feast fort style on a pioneer dinner highlighting locally-sourced foods. Break bread with the locals and new-found friends from around the world.
Includes a performance by New West Theatre actors, a guided tour by a costumed interpreter, a pioneer dinner of beef stew or bison chili, pan bannock, coffee or mint tea, one beer/wine or non-alcoholic drink with additional beverages available for sale. Experience what it would be like at night sitting around the fire listening to tales told by a fort trader. Enjoy making and roasting bannock on a stick topped with saskatoon berry jam while the stories are being told.
